About Kelsey Thompson
Kelsey graduated from Everest College in 2013 with a Paralegal diploma, in-addition to her Arts and Science Diploma from St. Lawrence College in Cornwall, Ontario. As a part of her paralegal program she participated in a 6 week placement with the Canadian Human Rights Commission following her studies, before volunteering with Gerami Law PC as an intern.
It was during her time as an intern where her excellent ability to assist in the day to day managing of the firm was first realized and she was offered a part time position. Shortly thereafter Ms. Thompson became a permanent member of the Gerami Law PC as Ms. Gerami’s Legal Assistant.
In that position she is responsible for a variety of tasks to assist Ms. Gerami and the rest of the Gerami Law PC team, ensuring that the Firm runs smoothly and efficiently, including: client intakes, invoicing, client reception and processing their ID documents, organizing firm events, coordinating professional development events for the firm’s lawyers, including Managing Director’s speeches, and teaching engagements, file management, and fulfilling other administrative needs.
Kelsey enjoys spending time with her Family and friends. During the summer she enjoys relaxing and soaking in the sun at her family’s cottage in the St. Lawrence River, fishing, and jet skiing.
